Our office utilized both intraoral and extraoral photography to help communicate with our patients and their insurance providers. We feel like this is a crucial component of providing ethical treatment. We take photographs everyday all day long. It gives our patients valuable information about the state of their oral health. It is nearly impossible to visualize your own teeth in a mirror at home. We take high resolution digital images of your teeth, gums and bite. This is part of your dental record and allows you to see exactly why certain treatments are recommended. We firmly believe the camera is one of the most important pieces of technology in the practice. We also find that patients receive better insurance reimbursements when we submit insurance claims with multiple photographs.
